Lourinhã Museum



The Lourinhã Museum, created in 1984, is the result of the selfless work of a group of enthusiasts, among whom Horácio Mateus and Isabel Mateus stand out. Three years earlier, they had founded GEAL - Ethnology and Archaeology Group of Lourinhã, a non-profit cultural association of recognized public utility, which oversees the Lourinhã Museum

Bacalhôa Buddah Eden



Europe's largest oriental garden. Almost 35 hectares of gardens decorated with harmony and good taste in which you can contemplate terracotta statues, Buddhas, immense lakes with goldfish, fountains, and pagodas. More than six thousand tons of granite and marble were needed for its creation

Berlenga Island



The Berlengas Archipelago is a small archipelago located on the Portuguese continental shelf, 5.7 miles from Cape Carvoeiro (Peniche). It is formed by a group of small islands and coastal reefs distributed in three groups: Berlenga Island, the Estelas and the Farilhões-Forcadas. The largest islands reach a height of about 90 m, but the remaining islets and rocks are of small dimensions, sometimes only touching the sea surface
